CoderBlocks (“we,” “our,” “us”) is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. This Privacy Policy covers the MacMobility website, purchases and downloads, license activation, and related communications and support. MacMobility is the only product currently offered for sale on this website.
Contact us about this policy or your personal data at kontakt@coderblocks.eu.
1. Information We Collect
- ● Purchases: Your checkout email address and name, order and payment confirmation details, the MacMobility license option purchased, and any applied discount. Stripe collects the payment and billing information requested during checkout; we do not collect full card details through a form on our website.
- ● License activation: The license key and email address submitted for validation. We store the key-to-email association to activate the license and check later validation requests. Activation requests also generate an administrative email containing the submitted key and email address.
- ● Coupons and sessions: A randomly generated website user identifier, coupon codes submitted in that session, and records of redeemed coupons used to prevent reuse.
- ● Downloads and communications: Your email address and any name you submit when requesting an emailed download or a MacMobility notification, plus information you include in support messages. Direct download links do not require an email form.
- ● Technical requests: Requests to our website and license services include technical information such as an IP address and browser or app request details. Our hosting infrastructure may process this information to deliver the service and maintain security.
Please do not send sensitive personal information or unrelated personal files in support requests.
2. How We Use Information & Legal Bases
- ● Contract performance: To process your MacMobility order, deliver license keys and downloads, activate and validate licenses, and provide requested support.
- ● Legitimate interests: To operate and protect the website and license services, prevent coupon and license misuse, and investigate delivery or activation problems, subject to your rights and interests.
- ● Legal obligations: To keep records required for accounting, tax and other applicable legal obligations.
- ● Consent: To send optional MacMobility promotional communications where you have separately opted in. You may withdraw consent by contacting us. Purchasing or activating a license does not automatically enroll you in marketing.
3. Cookies & Browser Storage
The website sets an essential userId session cookie containing a randomly generated identifier. It links your browser session to applied coupons and checkout requests. The cookie is HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it, and it has no persistent expiry set by the application. Browser session restoration may preserve session cookies.
Where a cookie notice is displayed, a cookie-consent entry in local storage remembers that you closed it. You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie may prevent coupons or checkout from working.
4. Who Receives Your Information
We use Stripe for payment processing and hosting, database and email service providers to operate MacMobility’s website, licensing and communications. Relevant order and activation information is available to the people administering those services and handling support. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Stripe handles information under its Privacy Policy. If you download the iPhone or iPad companion app through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s own privacy terms also apply to its services. Third-party applications and integrations you choose to use with MacMobility have their own privacy practices.
5. Retention, Security & International Transfers
We retain order records for applicable accounting and legal requirements, license-to-email records for as long as needed to administer your indefinite license, and coupon redemption records for as long as needed to prevent reuse. Support and optional notification records are retained only as long as needed for their purpose or applicable legal obligations. You can contact us about deletion; some records may still be needed to provide your license or meet legal requirements.
We take appropriate measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or disclosure. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Service providers may process personal data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards, transfers must rely on an appropriate mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
6. Your Rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing, and withdraw consent without affecting processing already lawfully carried out.
To exercise your rights, email kontakt@coderblocks.eu. We may need to verify your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.
7. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Eligibility to purchase and use MacMobility is described in our Terms and Conditions.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to MacMobility or our data practices. The current version and its update date will be published on this page.
